TeaCask was born from a journey of transformation, resilience, and a deep passion for Chinese tea culture—especially its timeless ceramics and teaware.
After graduating with a degree in software engineering, our founder spent three years in the tech industry before shifting to brand distribution and e-commerce. With hands-on experience in domestic e-commerce and digital marketing, he led a successful team in the children’s toy sector—until changing market trends and supply chain issues prompted a new direction.
During this uncertain time, with a cup of tea in hand and support from family and friends, he reflected on what was next. The answer was always close to home.
Hailing from Fujian, China—a region rich in tea culture and famed for the porcelain kilns of Dehua—our roots run deep in centuries of tea tradition and ceramic craftsmanship.
A Founder’s Passion
As a devoted teaware enthusiast with nearly 20 years of experience collecting and studying traditional Chinese teaware—especially Dehua white porcelain, Yixing Zisha, and Longquan celadon—our founder’s personal passion shaped the vision of TeaCask: to blend deep knowledge and appreciation of these timeless ceramics with modern digital tools, sharing their beauty and craftsmanship with a global audience.
